You know that feeling when you really want to work on your business… but it just keeps slipping down the list?

You’re doing the work, but don’t feel fully in control

Some months feel fine. Others leave you wondering where the next enquiry, project, or bit of income is coming from.

Client work takes over or life gets busy

So it gets pushed back. And when you do make time for it, you’re not always sure where to start.

You’ve got loads of ideas, but they’re scattered

You’re working hard, but not always with a clear sense of direction. And you find yourself second guessing everything.

You already know working on your business matters. The issue is doing it consistently.

say hello to …

Business development that works for creative minds, built around the foundations of your brand.

Traditional business advice can feel restrictive, overly structured, or completely disconnected from how creative business owners actually think and work.

When you know what your business stands for, who you’re trying to speak to, and what you’re building, your brand becomes something much more useful than your visual identity or messaging alone.

It becomes a manual to help you make decisions, stay focused, and grow your business more intentionally. So instead of constantly second guessing yourself or reacting to what’s happening around you, you’ve got something to keep you focused.

On Brand takes you from winging it to having a clearer sense of what you’re building and why.

So things feel less reactive, you’ve got more headspace for creativity again, and your business starts to feel like something you actually enjoy working on.

Being On Brand looks like…

Actually working on your business regularly

No more constantly telling yourself you really should make time to work on your business, only for client work or life to get in the way.

On Brand helps you create momentum through small, regular progress, so working on your business becomes something you actually do, not just something you think about.

Growing a business that actually fits how you work

This isn’t about forcing yourself into rigid business advice that doesn’t suit you.

It’s about building a business in a way that works with your creative brain, your goals, and the kind of life you actually want, while still making commercial sense.

Making more intentional decisions about what you do

When you’re deep in delivery mode, it’s easy to carry on doing what you’ve always done without stopping to ask whether it still makes sense.

This is your space to step back, review what’s working, and make decisions with more intention, instead of constantly reacting to what’s in front of you.

“My business felt chaotic and not truly like my own. I was trying to do too many things and was always doing what I thought I ‘should’ be doing, often following what others were doing, and I was definitely lost.

Working with Fliss, and being part of the group, has given me the space to actually stop and think. I had some real ‘wow’ moments and some very revealing realisations just from having honest conversations, and it made me realise what I actually want my business to look like.

Now I’m clear on who I want to work with, how I want to work and what I want to offer. I don’t say yes to everything anymore, and I’m not afraid to say no if something doesn’t feel like the right fit, which has been really empowering.”

Hey, I’m Fliss

I created On Brand because I know how easy it is to spend all your time working, while your business gets left behind. And I also know that traditional business planning doesn’t always work for creative minds.

What changed things for me was using my brand as a guide. It became something to help me make decisions, prioritise what matters, and build my business in a way that actually fits me.

That’s why I created On Brand.

It’s a space for creative business owners to regularly work on their business, with structure, support, and momentum behind you.

And it’s the way I’ve learned to work on my own business. It’s helped me make decisions, shape what I’m building, and actually move things forward.

What’s inside On Brand…

This isn’t an intense overhaul. It’s about working on your business regularly, and using your brand to guide your decisions. Because small businesses move forward through small, consistent progress, not all-or-nothing bursts that leave us overwhelmed.

This is how we stay on brand…

Working on your business isn’t about being perfectly consistent all the time. It’s about having a structure to come back to that helps you to refocus. We use your brand to shape that structure, so you can make decisions, focus your time, and move things forward without boxing yourself in. This is the BRAND method of working on your business…

Know your big vision

We set a yearly intention to get clear on what you want over the next year. It helps you make decisions, and stay focused.

Roadmap your projects

We identify the projects that will move you towards your intention for the year, and map out your way for the next season.

Actions for the season

This is where we decide what we’re focusing on for the season ahead. You’ll choose the 1–2 projects that matter most right now.

Nudge it forward

Take the projects you’ve chosen and break them down into the individual steps needed to get them done. Working like this makes progress much more manageable.

Debrief and plan

At the end of every month and season, we step back and look at how things are going. Then we reset our actions so things keep moving in line with our energy and capacity.

“My business looked fine from the outside, but day to day it felt chaotic and reactive. I was saying yes to everything, even work I didn’t enjoy, because I didn’t feel like I had a choice. I didn’t feel in control of where things were going.

Working with Fliss and being part of the community has given me the space to actually step back and think about what I want my business to look like. That’s changed everything. I’ve started making decisions differently, based on what I actually want rather than just taking whatever comes in.

Now I’m much clearer on the work I want to do and the clients I want to work with. And my business feels calmer and I’m more in control of it. I’ve even been able to take August off and be properly present with my daughter, without worrying about making up for it later, or losing any money.”

Got a question?
Let me answer that for you…

  • That’s pretty common.

Most people don’t need to redo their brand, they just don’t have a way to actually use it day to day.

This is about helping you come back to your brand regularly and use it to guide what you’re working on, rather than it sitting there as something you did once and haven’t really touched since.

It’s less about finding loads of time, and more about having a simple way to pick things up, work on them in smaller chunks, and keep things moving.

  • Then this will suit you.

There is structure, but it’s not fixed. You’re not locking yourself into one plan or one direction.

The idea is that you can change things as you go, but without it turning into constant second guessing or starting over every time something shifts. You’ll make decisions, try things, and change them if they stop feeling right or stop working. That’s expected, not a failure.

The structure is there so you’re not constantly starting from scratch, not to fix you into one version of your business.

  • Yes, because that shift doesn’t happen just because you decide you want it. It usually comes down to how you position your work and the decisions you make day to day.

It usually gets blocked because you’re still operating like a freelancer day to day, taking on whatever comes in and not creating space to build the next version of the business.

This gives you the space to step back, define what that next version actually looks like, and start making decisions that move you towards it, instead of keeping everything as it is.

  • That tends to happen when there isn’t a clear focus.

When everything feels like a good idea, it’s easy to jump between things or lose momentum altogether.

The aim here isn’t perfect consistency. It’s having something to come back to, so when you do get distracted or busy, you can pick things up again without it feeling like you’re starting from scratch.

  • A lot of planning falls apart, not because the plan is wrong, but because it doesn’t fit how you actually work.

So you either overcomplicate it, ignore it, or abandon it when things get busy.

This is simpler and more flexible. You’re focusing on a small number of things at a time, and adjusting as you go, so it’s easier to stick with and pick back up when life gets in the way.

  • You won’t, because there isn’t anything to keep up with.

This isn’t something you have to follow at a set pace. It’s about finding a way of working on your business that actually fits you, your time, and how you like to work.

What you’re getting here are the tools and structure to help you do that, not a schedule you need to stick to.

Some people will be more involved than others, and that’s fine. The point is that it works around you, not the other way round.

  • That’s fair.

This isn’t about giving you a fixed way of doing things. It’s more about helping you think through your own decisions properly, instead of defaulting to what you think you should be doing.

  • If anything, it tends to make space for it.

When everything feels a bit all over the place, most of your energy goes into reacting and figuring things out on the fly.

When things are clearer, you’ve got more headspace to actually focus on the work itself.

  • You don’t need to have everything figured out.

If anything, this is for the stage where things feel a bit unclear or not quite how you want them to be, but you can’t fully pinpoint why.

Working on your brand helps you figure things out.

  • That usually happens when something is either too theoretical or too easy to ignore once you’ve bought it.

This is designed to be used as part of how you run your business, not something you go through once and forget.

You’ve got regular points to come back, reflect, and actually apply what you’re working on, which is what tends to make the difference.

  • I’m always happy to chat through anything. If you’re unsure if On Brand is right for you and your business, drop me an email or send me a message on Instagram or Linkedin.

On Brand is for you if…

  • You’re at a stage where you know your business could be working better, but not quite in the way you want it to yet.

  • You know you can make this work but you don’t feel like you’re doing it properly.

  • You keep second guessing what you should focus on.

  • You want to feel more in control of your business, instead of constantly reacting.

  • You’re tired of feeling busy, but not fully secure.

  • You want to build a business that feels more stable, intentional, and aligned with the kind of work you actually want to do.

  • And you want to feel like a business owner, not someone who’s just winging it and hoping it all comes together.

It isn’t for you if…

  • You want a quick fix or instant results.

  • You’re looking for a rigid, step-by-step system that tells you exactly what to do.

  • You’re not willing to reflect, adapt, and take ownership of how you run your business.

  • You’re looking for bespoke strategic support or someone to tell you exactly what your business should do next.
