I’m Fliss, Founder of Honest Folk.

Building the brand you want. Creating the lifestyle you want. Waking up every day to do exactly the kind of work you want. These are some of the most exciting parts of running your own business. 

For so many of us, working on our own business just feels daunting and hard to prioritise. You should feel full of confidence when you do your thing, and when you talk about it.

That’s why I’m here. I want to help you bridge the gap between where you are now, and the next level of your business, whatever that looks like for you. But it’s also really important to me that the process itself feels simple, straightforward, and fun. 

So that’s what I’ll help you to build; a business that feels 100% yours, and a way of running things that feels true to you.

So often, “brand” is made out to be something fluffy and hard to understand. But if we look through all the brand BS that’s out there, it’s actually something much more human. And that something already exists in what you do, you just haven’t made sense of it yet. 

That’s why Honest Folk exists: to demystify the world of “brand”, join the dots that are in your head, and help you lean into what makes you, ‘you’.

The name “Honest Folk” sort of happened by accident. One day I just said: “I want to help honest folk doing good work”. It just slipped out. But as soon as I said it, I realised there was no better way to describe why I do what I do, or who I do it for. It’s my job to be there right alongside you, helping you kickstart the process of working on your brand (because it’s never truly finished). 

The end result? Messaging and positioning that you feel comfortable owning as a brand. We’ll carve out a space that you love to show up in, and where your dream clients can’t help but want to hang out too.

Why is this my thing?

There’s two things I’ve always loved in this world: finding out how things work, and understanding people. Put those two together, and you pretty much get brand strategy.

(If I’m allowed more than two things to love, I’d also put my 12 year old house rabbit Dali, black cat Mo, cups of tea and New Zealand where I lived for a bit in my 20s; not to mention Yorkshire, where I currently live with my husband.)
